Since my family moved to other countries, a lot of things were constantly shifting in my little world - different languages, apartments and schools, my circle of friends has changed completely several times, yet one thing remained the same - a gambling-addicted father who repeatedly raised his hand against my mother. I always wanted to reflect upon such a sensitive topic as abuse in my art, although it wasn‘t an easy task to do, especially if you’ve been witnessing it for years against your most important person. One day it just popped out - and it turned out to be not just another tear squeezing ballad, that would nourish self-pity., but rather an energetic, motivational anthem to all the woman out there - recognize abuse and set a point in the toxic relationship before it‘s too late.
